Ordinary Seaman Course

Know the functions of an ordinary seaman both on deck and in the engine room. Support in mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and towing maneuvers, and in the preventive maintenance of the deck, ship structure, and engine room. Know the responsibilities related to safety management and the protection of the marine environment.

Yacht Captain Course (Up to 200 Tons)

Effectively manage emergency situations on yachts or pleasure boats, ensuring calmness among passengers and novice crew members. They will learn to direct people to safe places, provide precise instructions, and handle lifesaving equipment. Competently assume the role of Captain on recreational vessels.

Hotel Staff Course

In the Hotel Staff Course on Passenger Ships, all the standards and best practices necessary to perform non-maritime roles on cruise ships and ferries, such as housekeeper, dancer, doctor, and waiter, are taught. Governed by STCW standards, this course ensures exceptional and professional service onboard.

What is the investment for the courses?

The total investment for the basic courses is $395. The investment for the Ordinary Seaman course and the Yacht Captain course is $305. Places are limited, reserve today.

What are the minimum requirements?

  • Must be of legal age.
  • Present an ID or passport.
  • Certificate of good health.

Can payment be made in parts?

Yes, we have financing plans. Contact us and let us design a model that best suits your possibilities.

Will I get my money back if I do not take the courses?

If you decide not to take the course, you must notify us five days before the start of the course, 90% of the total will be refunded, there is no refund after this time.

What are the payment methods?

Payments can be made with credit card (Visa or Mastercard), clave card, Yappy or ACH.

What are the course schedules?

We offer a daytime schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and an evening schedule from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A minimum of 15 people is required for the evening schedule.

Are the courses in-person?

The courses are in-person, but they will also be streamed on Zoom and the recordings will be uploaded to the website for later consultation.

What backing does the certificate have?

The certificate is recognized by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP) and meets the standards established by the International Maritime Organization.

Is the training center recognized?

Our training center is recognized by the Maritime Authority of Panama (AMP), the Ministry of Education (MEDUCA), the National Institute of Professional Training (INADEH), and the International Maritime Organization (OMI) since 1998. We have the most extensive market experience.

Where can one find work?

This course is your first step into the maritime world, where you could apply to work on various types of ships as an ordinary seaman. With additional experience, you can advance in rank and progress in your maritime career. The course enables you to obtain the seaman's license.

Do you offer the course in English?

Yes, we offer the course in English, but a minimum of 8 people is required.
